David Garmo
David Garmo started Brazillian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) when he was just 5 years old. David most recently made it to the semi-finals in the Onnit Invitational 9 BJJ Tournament. Where he was awarded the best armbar out of all competitors.
David is motivated by mediocrity. "I can’t abide mediocrity. I was given the talent of being naturally inclined toward grappling and cannot see that wasted in myself or others."
David takes CBD because "I’ve noticed reduced inflammation as well as less pain in previously affected areas. I love CBD because I have stopped using Ibuprofen about one and a half years ago. CBD gives me similar results."

Matt Leighton
Matthew Leighton is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and competes in the US as well as internationally. He has worked to become an IBJJF World No-Gi Champion and IBJJF European Open Champion. Matt also has over 30 grappling wins and 18 wins by submission.
Matt is from the Chicago area where he grew up and found his love for BJJ around the age of 18. He moved into the gym full time after graduating from High School to focus on grappling.
Matt is opening Citadel Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2019, where he will be personally coaching BJJ.

Dee Ripper
Daniel Ripper is a 2x brown belt pan am Masters Champion, Double Gold Masters Champ and has many other medals to his name. He also owns Lamorinda Jiu-Jitsu where he teaches as well as trains.
Daniel proves it is possible to balance work, life, and exercise. He is full time in BJJ between owning a gym, competing, and coaching. He also works full-time as a Real Estate broker!
