CBD Frequently Asked Questions

Will CBD Get Me High?

No. The "high" feeling people have when they are ingesting cannabis is from THC. Both CBD and THC are cannabinoids. Very similar in chemical structure and makeup, except THC, is responsible for the intoxicating "high" effect, not CBD. In fact, CBD actually counteracts the symptoms of THC. Learn more on our blog about how CBD won't get you high.

What is the Difference Between CBD and THC?

Both CBD and THC are cannabinoids. There are over 80 known cannabinoid compounds with CBD and THC being the most common. The main difference being THC has intoxicating properties while CBD does not. For more on CBD and THC, see CBD vs THC: What's the Difference?

Is Your CBD Derived from Hemp or Marijuana?

All CBD products referred to on our website are derived from imported and domestic hemp. Hemp naturally contains high levels of CBD and low levels of THC. CBD products are considered legal if they contain less than .3% THC. For more on this, see our article on CBD oil, THC oil, Hemp Oil, Marijuana

Is CBD Legal?

Yes, CBD derived from industrial hemp is federally legal, as long as the product contains less than .3% THC. Proof of this is viewed on the COA's we have listed for each product. In the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp is de-scheduled and thus is now considered an agricultural commodity on the federal level.

Will I Fail a Drug Test?

The vast majority of drug tests are urine tests, which look for delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD products can contain up to .3% THC and thus there is a chance they could show up on a drug screen. Especially if the drug screen you are taking is searching for all cannabinoids.

If you are taking a drug screen searching for all cannabinoids, we DO NOT suggest taking any CBD product. If you are taking a basic drug test searching for THC only, you could try a CBD isolate product as they do not contain any THC. Learn more on our blog - Will CBD Oil Make Me Fail a Drug Test?

Will CBD Cure _______?

We are not doctors so we cannot treat, diagnose, prescribe, or cure any illness. Our body, however, can do some amazing things, if given the right tools.

About every 7 years we have almost a completely new body as our body is constantly regenerating itself. This regeneration process is sort of like building a house. Imagine building a house, but not having all of the proper tools (hammers, nails, screws, wood, etc). You may still build a house, but it probably isn't going to be very good, or function properly. Contrast building a house with all of the proper tools and directions to do so.

Our body is constantly rebuilding, let's give it the right tools to do so. When we do, surprising things happen.

Can I Give CBD to my Dog?

Yes, you can give CBD oil to your dog. In fact, dogs have an Endocannabinoid System just like we do. This system helps our furry friends to regulate their various bodily systems similar to how it works in humans.
